Wetlands, a land that protects human beings from floods, provide water in dry seasons and grazing fields to the animals need our core attention if we wish to maintain balance in our ecosystem and save wetlands. This part of land exist in various parts of the world possessing different characteristics but all have a few common benefits in terms of saving our earth from natural disasters. Natural disasters like floods kill a large number of animals every year, becoming a cause of extinction of many species on earth. Polluted water is also purified by Wetlands by trapping various contaminants and toxic materials. Keeping in view all the benefits of Wetlands, we should play our part and save Wetlands from destruction. Initiate and Participate in Programs on Saving Wetlands:To save Wetlands, we should contact our local community groups and government organizations about the activities and seminars on “Saving Wetlands”. There are various non-government organizations working on saving Wetlands and bringing awareness among people to take important steps in this aspect. Being a citizen of our country, we should volunteer and figure out where we can be of help to these organizations in this noble cause. Participation in these activities as well as trying to initiate our own seminars would help the cause to a great deal. Stop Illegal activities:Wetlands are considered as dumping areas among uneducated people. Many Wetlands have been destroyed owing to the dumping of garbage. Garbage and waste material from cities is brought to Wetlands and dumped without any permission. Through the awareness brought in with the seminars, we should strain ourselves from such activities. We should look to take legal steps against the ones involved in such illegal activities in order to save Wetlands from getting polluted and destroyed. Plant more trees:Ecological balance is very important in nature and saving Wetlands. Planting more trees is a source of providing a healthy environment and reducing pollution. Moreover, a large number of trees and shrubs help prevent floods by reducing the water flow considerably. Trees and plants absorb a large quantity of water and thus leaving comparatively low amount to flow on the ground. We should take this responsibility to plant a tree suitable to the environment and keep the area green to save Wetlands. Use non-toxic materials:The use of toxic products can contaminate the water extensively. We should take care before using and dumping any product or paper that can turn out to be harmful to the water. Wetlands have been damaged due to toxic materials being thrown in the water. Polluted and contaminated water destroys the plantation and harms the animals. In order to save Wetlands, we should play our part in properly recycling toxic materials into non-toxic products before they are exposed to the environment. Recycle waste material:There are many products in our daily household use that are toxic to the environment. One of them is plastic bags. Plastic bags are dumped into the atmosphere where it pollutes the water as well as contaminates it with different bacteria. To save Wetlands, such waste materials should be properly recycled before being thrown. When it rains, the water from these contaminated products is carried out to the Wetlands where it becomes polluted. Saving Wetlands from such products can help the cause to a great extent. Dispose of litter properly:A very common reason for water getting polluted is throwing garbage or litter anywhere else. This garbage is carried away by the rain in the rivers where it contaminates the water. Similar is the case with Wetlands, Improper disposal of litter on the roads or other places destroys the fertility of Wetlands. Being a citizen of our country, we should take steps towards keeping our atmosphere clean and save Wetlands from a devastating effect. from Find All Information regarding BID Up Coming Events like US Election, Christmas Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Cyber Monday and much more http://www.upcomevent.com/effective-ways-to-save-wetlands/ from https://upcomeventus.tumblr.com/post/177452589327
